RadarClean App Privacy Notice
Effective date: [date] · Last updated: [date]
This notice explains how personal information is handled in the RadarClean app (the "App"), at app.radarclean.com and at the addresses of the businesses that use it (for example, business-name.radarclean.com). The App is provided by [RadarClean LLC] ("RadarClean," "we," "us"), [address], [contato@radarclean.com].
Our website, radarclean.com, has its own Privacy Policy.
1. Two different roles
The App is used by cleaning businesses (our "Customers") to run their operations. That is why we play two different roles:
- When you use the App as a business owner or team member (for example, you log in, invite staff, subscribe or ask us for support), RadarClean decides how your account information is used. Sections 2 to 11 describe that.
- When a cleaning business stores information about you in the App (for example, you are a client of the business, a helper or cleaner, or you asked for a quote online), the cleaning business is responsible for your information, and RadarClean only stores and processes it for that business, following our contract with them. Section 12 explains what that means and how to exercise your rights.
2. Information we collect about App users
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Account information | Name, email, phone, business name, role (owner, manager, office, helper), preferred language | You or the owner who invited you |
| Login and security | Password (stored only as a secure hash), two-step verification settings, recovery codes (encrypted), session and device information, login times, failed attempts | You and your device |
| Billing | Plan, billing status, invoices, and the last four digits and expiry of your card, as provided by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number | You and Stripe |
| Support | Messages you send us, files you send for an assisted import (kept for up to 14 days), notes about your request | You |
| Usage and logs | Pages and features used, actions recorded in your business's audit log, IP address, browser type, error reports | Your use of the App |
3. How we use App user information
- to create and secure your account, including two-step verification and fraud prevention;
- to provide the App's features and keep them working;
- to charge subscriptions, send receipts and handle payment issues;
- to answer support requests, including support access when the owner grants it;
- to send service messages, such as security alerts, trial and renewal reminders and notice of changes to our terms or prices;
- to improve the App, including using anonymized and aggregated information that does not identify you or your business;
- to comply with law and enforce our terms.
We do not sell personal information, do not share it for targeted advertising, and do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4. How information is shared
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that help us run the App, under written contracts that require them to protect it:
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. (U.S.) | Hosting, database, file storage, security, email routing, and AI translation and suggested replies (Workers AI) |
| Stripe, Inc. (U.S.) | Subscription billing and card processing |
| Bouncie (U.S.) | GPS data, only if the business connects a Bouncie account |
| Google LLC (U.S.) | Mailbox for support email |
| U.S. Census Bureau; Komoot GmbH — Photon/OpenStreetMap (Germany); OSRM routing server (Germany — [confirm]) | Address checking, address suggestions and driving distance. They receive street addresses or coordinates only, never names |
| [Resend, Inc. (U.S.)] | [Emails such as invitations and password resets, when enabled] |
- The business you work for, which can see the information of its own team members, and its owners can see the audit log.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights and safety, within what the law allows.
- A buyer or successor, if RadarClean is involved in a merger or sale of its business, subject to this notice.
5. Artificial intelligence
The App uses AI (Cloudflare Workers AI) to translate messages between English and Portuguese and to suggest replies in English. The text of the message is sent to the AI service to produce the translation or suggestion. Suggestions are drafts: a person at the business reviews and decides what to send. We do not allow our AI providers to use this content to train their general models, to the extent their terms allow us to control it, and we do not use identifiable content to train models.
6. Location (GPS)
If a business connects a GPS device (such as Bouncie) installed in its own vehicle, the App receives the vehicle's trips and stops to show the work day, time spent at each job and driving distance. The App shows this information only for business days and work hours, and the business must inform its workers in advance. Location data is not used for advertising and is not shared with other businesses.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
The App uses only cookies that are strictly necessary:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
hs | Keeps you logged in on that business's address | Until logout or session expiry |
rc_casa | Remembers which business address your device uses, so the old app icon still opens the right place (stores only the address name) | [up to 1 year] |
bstate | Protects the connection to the GPS provider during sign-in | A few minutes |
The App does not use advertising cookies, social media pixels or third-party analytics. Because we do not track you across sites, there is nothing to stop when your browser sends "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals; if this changes, we will honor them and update this notice first.
8. How long we keep information
- Account information: while the account is active, and for [30] days after the subscription ends, so the business can export its data. Then it is deleted from the live App, and from backups within [90] days.
- Billing records: as long as required by tax and accounting law (generally [7] years).
- Assisted-import files: deleted when the import is completed or cancelled, or after [14] days.
- Security and audit logs: [for the life of the account, then deleted with it].
- Anonymized information: may be kept, because it no longer identifies anyone.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information, including two-step verification, encryption in transit and of sensitive fields, separation between businesses, permission levels, audit logs and daily backups. Our team cannot see a business's clients, schedule, payments, messages or GPS through our administrative tools; they can do so only when the business owner grants time-limited support access, and every action is recorded and shown to the owner.
No system is perfectly secure. If a security incident affects your information, we will notify the affected business within 72 hours of confirming it, and notify you and the authorities when and as required by law, including the New York data breach law (within 30 days).
10. Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we have personal information about you and give you a copy;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information;
- stop sending you non-essential messages.
Email [contato@radarclean.com]. We may need to confirm your identity first. We respond within [15] days and do not charge for requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you live in a U.S. state with its own privacy law, you may also exercise the rights it gives you through the same email, and appeal a decision by replying to our answer.
Some information may need to be kept even after a deletion request (for example, billing records required by law, or information the business you work for still needs; in that case, we will tell you).
11. People in Brazil (LGPD)
Some RadarClean personnel and contractors work from Brazil. When processing takes place in Brazil or involves people in Brazil, we also follow Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (Law No. 13,709/2018). Our legal bases are: performing our contract with you or your business, our legitimate interest in keeping the App secure and improving it, and compliance with legal obligations. You have the rights in Article 18 of the LGPD and may complain to the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD). Our contact for data protection matters is [contato@radarclean.com].
12. If a cleaning business stores your information in the App
This applies to clients of a cleaning business, its helpers and cleaners, and anyone who requests a quote through a business's online quote page.
12.1 Who is responsible. The cleaning business decides what information to collect about you and how to use it. RadarClean stores and processes it only on that business's behalf, under a contract that forbids us to sell it, use it for advertising, use it for any other business or combine it with information from other businesses.
12.2 What may be stored, depending on how the business uses the App:
- Clients: name, service address, phone, email, preferred language, details of the home (rooms, size, pets), access instructions (such as a door code or key location), service schedule and history, prices, payments and amounts owed, and messages exchanged with the business.
- Quote requests: the information you enter on the quote page, the date and time of your consent to be contacted, and a one-way coded version (hash) of your IP address, used only to prevent abuse.
- Workers: name, phone, pay method and amounts, jobs assigned, hours, and, if the business uses GPS in its vehicles, trips and time at each job.
12.3 Text messages. If you agreed on a quote page to be contacted by text, you can reply STOP at any time to stop text messages from that business.
12.4 Your rights. To access, correct or delete your information, please contact the cleaning business directly. If you contact us instead, we will forward your request to the business and help it respond.
12.5 Retention. The business decides how long to keep your information while it uses the App. When a business stops using the App, its information is deleted as described in Section 8.
13. Children
The App is for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes
When we change this notice, we will post the new version with an updated date. If a change is material (for example, a new use of information), we will notify owners of active accounts by email and in the App before it takes effect.
